Key Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, and implement patient care, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans, promoting positive patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, empowering them to take an active role in their healthcare.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring seamless care coordination and transitions.
- 1 year of acute care experience in Oncology, General Surgery, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, or Cardiac-related nursing.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record Systems, such as EPIC.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN).
- Current California Registered Nursing (RN) License.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Card (BLS).
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required for employees hired after January 1, 2023.
- Successful completion of department-provided EKG training within 90 days of hire.
