As an Oncology Registered Nurse Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work in our state-of-the-art Oncology and General Surgery Unit, where you will be responsible for directing, delivering, and coordinating nursing care for patients with complex needs. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each patient.

We offer a competitive salary range of $47.15 to $73.92 per hour, with opportunities for shift differentials and bonus incentives. To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) and a current California Registered Nursing (RN) License. Job Summary: The Oncology Registered Nurse Specialist is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the Oncology and General Surgery Unit. This role requires a strong understanding of the nursing process and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct, deliver, and coordinate nursing care for patients with complex needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote patient safety and quality care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote optimal health outcomes.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and safety of patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
  • Current California Registered Nursing (RN) License
  • 1 year of acute care experience in Oncology, General Surgery, or Medical-Surgical settings
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record Systems such as EPIC
