Seasonal Contract Registered Nurse (RN) ICU Days

Job Summary:

The Tampa General Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Seasonal Contract Registered Nurse in the ICU Days department. As a Seasonal Contract Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU Days department.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and prioritize care accordingly.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient vital signs, lab results, and other data to inform care decisions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and hospital processes.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Florida.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a critical care setting.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
