Job Summary

East African Healing Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate ABA Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will work closely with our clients and their families to provide high-quality, evidence-based ABA therapy services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Treatment Planning and Implementation
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address client goals and objectives
    • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in various settings, including home, school, and community-based environments
  • Data Collection and Analysis
    • Collect and analyze data to inform treatment decisions and progress updates
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Provide regular written and verbal progress updates to clients and their families
    • Participate in team meetings and training workshops to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments
  • Client Safety and Well-being
    • Ensure a safe and positive environment for clients at all times

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Undergraduate or graduate degree in psychology, social work, education, or a related field
    • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
    • Experience working with children with developmental disabilities and behavior problems
  • Skills and Qualities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Work Environment

East African Healing Services provides ABA therapy services in the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area, serving clients in Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, and Washington Counties.
