Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer to join our team at Passaic County Community College. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical coverage to student-athletes, evaluate and treat injuries, and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical coverage to student-athletes during scheduled playing seasons and seek consultation upon injury evaluation
  • Serve as an onsite physical health consultant for assigned teams during practices, competitions, and special events
  • Evaluate, treat, and rehabilitate athletic injuries in consultation with healthcare professionals
  • Document athletic injuries and report incident and injury-related matters to the Athletic Director and Public Safety Office
  • Maintain files and coordinate athletic injury insurance claims
  • Order medical supplies and equipment within budget
  • Perform related duties as assigned by the Athletic Director
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from a Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education approved program
  • NATA certification and maintenance of certification by NATA required
  • Licensed Athletic Trainer validation by the Board of Medical Examiners
  • Minimum of two years of Athletic Training experience preferred
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be available to work weekday evenings and Saturdays during home games. A background check will be required for the selected candidate.
