Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a job share capacity, 2 days a week. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geriatric care and experience working in long-term care settings. The position offers a competitive salary and a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas of need and develop treatment plans
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and techniques
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the State of Colorado
- Current ASHA certification
- Experience working in geriatric care and long-term care settings preferred
- Knowledge of Medicare documentation and guidelines preferred
