Job Summary and QualificationsThe Emergency Department Registered Nurse delivers age-appropriate care to patients based on their physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs. The Registered Nurse may rotate to other areas outside of their usual service assignments and will perform only those duties for which they have demonstrated competency. The Registered Nurse executes delegated responsibilities consistent with their scope of practice and operates within the philosophy and overall care delivery plan at North Suburban Medical Center. The RN provides care for patients from neonatal to geriatric stages.
Qualifications Required:- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse or an active multistate Registered Nurse license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Additional certifications required: PALS and TNCC.
- ENPC certification preferred.
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing; BSN is desirable.
- A minimum of one to two years of nursing experience in emergency department acute care is required.
