Job Summary:
Schomp Automotive Group is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with MINI and BMW vehicles and a passion for delivering exceptional service. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for servicing vehicles in a timely and proficient manner, inspecting engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues, and working with the team to achieve dealership and manufacturer goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Service vehicles in a timely and proficient manner for routine scheduled and regular maintenance
  • Inspect vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues and accurately recommend replacement/repair as needed
  • Work with the team to achieve dealership, group, and manufacturer goals and benchmarks
  • Efficiently and accurately repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues, maintaining productivity goals

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of full-time paid experience as a MINI/BMW technician in a professional dealership or automotive service center or BMW STEP program completion or BMW FastTrack program completion
  • 3+ years of all other makes and models experience, if not a German brand, at a professional dealership or automotive service center
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and demonstrate motivation to continually increase knowledge and technical skills
  • Positive team player with a passion for delivering exceptional service
  • Complete and up-to-date set of tools
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable MVR
