As an essential member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth front-office operations that are crucial for enhancing the efficiency of our medical practice and clinic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome, assess, and assist patients and visitors.
  • Manage incoming mail, faxes, and various documents.
  • Operate a multi-line telephone system.
  • Schedule appointments, register patients, and facilitate check-in/check-out processes.
  • Maintain accurate medical records.
  • Conduct data management and spreadsheet tasks.
  • Generate and oversee reports.
  • Execute charge entry tasks.
  • Handle billing documentation and troubleshoot any issues.
  • Collect co-payments, deductibles, and other patient payments at the time of service.
  • Oversee cash handling and maintain receipt documentation.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with data processing and multi-line phone systems is advantageous.
  • Experience in patient registration and medical insurance processes is preferred.
  • Understanding of office procedures and equipment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency in automated computer systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
