Job Title: Implementation Specialist - Social Work Research

We are seeking a highly skilled Implementation Specialist to join our team at the University of Tennessee Knoxville, College of Social Work. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with our Social Work Office of Research and Public Service to develop and execute an evaluation plan designed to support the Tennessee Department of Children's Services efforts to implement evidence-based programs (EBPs) in contracted community-based provider agencies across Tennessee.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, design, and conduct applied research and program evaluation activities to support the implementation of EBPs.
  • Deliver direct implementation supports to community-based organizations and their staff to ensure effective implementation of Title IV-E Prevention EBPs and practice.
  • Develop implementation tools, measures, and learning resources that meet the needs of various stakeholders.
  • Support the development of TA materials that facilitate the implementation of Title IV-E Prevention EBPs, such as manuals, videos, and webinars.
Requirements:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Sociology, Implementation Science, Public Health, Social Work, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of work experience as a program evaluator or research analyst, with a minimum of 3 years outside of coursework.
  • Demonstrated experience with quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis skills and survey development.
  • Fluency in participant confidentiality and data security protocols.
  • Strong written, oral, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated skill in facilitating adult learning, such as facilitating learning collaboratives, coaching, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience leading applied research or program evaluation projects, including establishing project timelines, delegating work, and supporting team members.
  • Demonstrated experience with evidence-based practice models.
  • Applied experience with implementation science and/or fidelity monitoring.
  • Familiarity with the Family First Prevention Services Act (FFPSA).
  • Experience with multi-site evaluations.

The University of Tennessee Knoxville, College of Social Work, offers a competitive salary range of $68,000 - $73,000 and a market range of 11. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment with a team of experienced professionals.
