Job Description
  • To hire and/or train a qualified staff to produce the highest volume of sales, and affect the greatest profit while maintaining a high degree of public satisfaction, confidence, and prestige in the service and quality of the hotel.
  • To oversee hiring, training, scheduling, employee issues, and termination, including development and motivation of personnel skills.
  • To exemplify Hotel policies and procedures.
  • To remain competitive in every area and to produce and achieve budgetary goals.
  • To maintain a high employee morale.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of recent experience as an Assistant General Manager or General Manager with a proven track record for achieving excellent customer service.
  • Must possess operational knowledge of all phases of the hotel industry as well as understand budgeting and accounting.
  • A well-organized, highly motivated individual with a take charge attitude and excellent communication skills and great attention to detail is vital to this position.
  • Must set an example for all employees at all times relating to guest service and professionalism.
  • Excellent communicator, well organized, and detail oriented.
  • Flexible hours required.
  • Basic computer skills with knowledge in Windows, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as follow given instructions.
