Automotive Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at GPAC. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customer vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles.
  • Identify and diagnose problems using diagnostic equipment.
  • Explain repairs and issues to customers and provide excellent customer service.
  • Plan and execute repair procedures using technical manuals and experience.
  • Test and verify the functionality of repaired parts and systems.
  • Perform basic auto care and maintenance tasks such as oil changes and tire rotations.
  • Repair and replace brake pads, wheel bearings, and other vehicle components.
  • Perform routine maintenance and general mechanic work on vehicles.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in an automotive technician role.
  • Master Technician certification preferred, but not required.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
