Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to the Labor and Delivery team, ensuring that patient care is delivered in a safe and efficient manner.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Manage budgets and resources to ensure effective use of hospital resources.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure that the team has the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care.
- Monitor and evaluate patient care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
- Current Texas State RN license or Compact license accepted.
- National Certification or plan to achieve within 1 year of hire/transfer required.
- BLS/ACLS certification as required by individual department.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursing management position.
