About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Admin to join our team at Hexaware Technologies. As a Snowflake Admin, you will be responsible for configuring and managing Snowflake environments, ensuring optimal performance and cost-efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure warehouses, databases, and other Snowflake objects to meet specific project or organizational requirements.
  • Ensure optimal configuration settings for performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Monitor the performance of Snowflake environments and execute performance tuning strategies to optimize query execution and resource utilization.
  • Analyze query performance and optimize SQL queries and warehouse sizes for efficiency.
  • Implement and manage security measures within Snowflake, including data encryption, access controls, and network policies to protect sensitive information.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and organizational data governance policies.
  • Manage data storage within Snowflake, including data loading, transformation, and extraction processes.
  • Implement data retention policies and manage data lifecycle within the platform.
  • Monitor and optimize Snowflake credit usage to control costs without compromising performance.
  • Advise on cost-effective use of Snowflake features and resources.
  • Manage user accounts, roles, and access privileges to ensure secure and appropriate access to the database.
  • Provide technical support and training to users on how to effectively use Snowflake features.
