Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at Beachwood Animal Clinic. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinarians in delivering top-notch medical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including restraint, triage, and laboratory sample collection
  • Provide nursing care for medical and hospitalized cases, including administration of medications and monitoring vital signs
  • Conduct diagnostic imaging, including radiography and ultrasonography
  • Manage laboratory samples and tests, including blood samples, urine, fecal, and skin
  • Assist with surgical procedures, including anesthesia and surgical monitoring
  • Communicate effectively with clients and provide exceptional customer service
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in veterinary technology or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a veterinary technician or in a related field
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to communicate precisely
  • Knowledge of veterinary medical procedures, including restraint, triage, and laboratory sample collection
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Proficient in venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and intubation
  • Ability to properly set-up and process laboratory samples and tests
  • Proficient in positioning and capturing radiographs
