Position Overview
As a Senior Manager of Strategic Initiatives within the Away From Home Strategy team, you will be integral to PepsiCo's comprehensive Strategy network, collaborating globally across our diverse portfolio of beverages, snacks, and nutrition products. This role is vital in shaping PepsiCo's long-term growth trajectory and portfolio evolution, influencing both the company’s future and the industry landscape. The Away From Home segment is crucial for PepsiCo's strategic objectives, acting as a source of profitable expansion, a platform for brand development, and a catalyst for transformation.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring that the organization invests in the necessary assets and capabilities to maintain a competitive edge, adapt to market dynamics, and uphold market leadership. This involves crafting actionable strategies to address some of the most pressing challenges the company faces by influencing brand direction, innovation, equipment, and channel strategies, as well as executing transformational initiatives such as data analytics and online ordering to maximize growth and market penetration. Our team primarily engages in three project types: long-term strategic planning, annual strategic planning, and growth prioritization (including channel/customer strategy and portfolio management).
Key Responsibilities:
- Adopt a solution-focused approach to tackle critical business challenges.
- Translate complex business issues into structured projects, leading them from hypothesis development to final deliverables.
- Oversee analytical workstreams—identify and dissect business challenges, developing strategic, analytical, and financial frameworks to conduct thorough analyses.
- Exhibit strong leadership and influence management capabilities, including the ability to question existing practices.
- Guide and manage teams to ensure timely and complete project deliverables.
- Invest in the professional growth of team members through coaching, performance evaluations, and career guidance.
- Create executive-level project presentations.
- Respond to urgent requests from executive leaders and cross-functional partners.
- Maintain an external perspective, staying informed about consumer trends, competitive landscape, and macroeconomic factors.
- Contribute to capability enhancement for the entire Global Strategy function (including recruiting, training, and knowledge management).
Compensation & Benefits:
- The anticipated compensation range for this role is between $106,300 - $177,850, based on a full-time schedule.
- Actual starting salary will be determined by location, job-related skills, and experience.
- Performance-based bonuses may be available, with a target payout of 15% of annual salary.
- Paid time off is subject to eligibility, including parental leave, vacation, sick leave, and bereavement.

- Bachelor's degree required (MBA preferred).
