Position Overview

The Teen Center Program Facilitator plays a vital role in fostering a supportive environment for youth development. Under the guidance of the Program Specialist/Director, this position is responsible for leading and supervising the activities of participants in the Teen Center, focusing on personal growth, community service, and social skills enhancement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and monitor engaging activities for Teen Center participants.
  • Promote personal growth and social development through structured programs.
  • Utilize effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with teens and their families.
  • Implement age-appropriate behavior management techniques to ensure a positive experience for all participants.
  • Maintain organized records and materials related to program activities.
Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • At least 18 years of age with a minimum of 2 years of experience working with adolescents (21 years preferred).
  • Strong human relation skills to effectively engage with teens, parents, and staff.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in youth programs and knowledge of group dynamics.
  • Current certifications in CPR and First Aid, along with training in Child Abuse Prevention and Safety Management.
