Speech Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech/Language Pathologist to join our team at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and assessing speech, voice, swallowing, dysfluency, cognition, and language function using written and oral tests and special instruments.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and assess speech, voice, swallowing, dysfluency, cognition, and language function using written and oral tests and special instruments.
- Develop and implement functional treatment plans for disorders of speech, voice, swallowing, dysfluency, cognition, and language.
- Collaborate with other specialists to develop therapeutic plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
- Stay up-to-date with advances in the discipline of speech-language pathology and related areas.
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
- Provide education and training to patients and families on techniques to increase functional communication and swallow safety.
- Consult with and educate medical staff on speech and swallowing topics.
- Supervise, train, and assess therapy students during onsite clinical affiliations.
- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Completion of clinical fellowship program.
- Speech Language Pathologist license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Basic Life Support/CPR certification.
