About the JobThis is a temporary locum tenens Nurse Practitioner position in a Family Practice setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions.
- Provide patient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices.
- Perform procedures as permitted by state regulations and NP specialty.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly.
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree focused on an NP specialty.
- Active and unencumbered advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license in Washington.
- National certification as an NP in a relevant specialty area.
- At least one year of experience in a clinical setting relevant to the specialty.
