Job Summary

Miller Fabrication Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for implementing the organization's People Strategy, managing talent acquisition, and providing guidance to managers and HR staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with executive leadership to understand and execute the organization's People Strategy, particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
  • Provide support and guidance to managers and HR staff on complex, specialized, and sensitive issues, including reasonable accommodations, investigations, and terminations.
  • Manage the talent acquisition process, including recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles.
  • Analyze trends in compensation and benefits, researching and proposing competitive base and incentive pay programs to attract and retain top talent.
  • Create learning and development programs and initiatives to provide internal development opportunities for employees.
  • Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • A minimum of three years of human resource management experience preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP a plus.
