Job Summary

Technology Solutions of America is seeking a skilled UPS Infrastructure Technician to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining electrical UPS infrastructure systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement UPS Solutions: Develop on-site UPS solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Power Failover Solutions: Design and implement UPS power failover solutions to ensure business continuity.
  • UPS Refresh Projects: Execute plans and projects for UPS refresh and upgrades.
  • Equipment Installation: Install UPS equipment and its options, including IT rack mounting solutions.
  • System Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure system reliability.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair damaged UPS units, or substitute them as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience as a UPS Technician or similar role.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of IT infrastructures, including Cisco and other IT switch equipment, file servers, phone systems, and other IT components.
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation and an insured vehicle.
  • License: Valid Driver's license with a good driving record.
  • UPS Knowledge: Knowledge of Eaton and APC UPS's is a plus.
