We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Scientist to join our team. As a member of our team, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team of data scientists, credit risk experts, and product managers to deliver products that customers love. We use cutting-edge technologies like Python, Conda, AWS, H2O, Spark, and more to reveal insights hidden within huge volumes of numeric and textual data.

About the Requirements
We are looking for someone with a strong background in statistics, software engineering, and business expertise. Your experience with machine learning, relational databases, and open-source programming languages is essential. As a Data Scientist, you will build statistical and machine learning models to challenge the models in production and flex your interpersonal skills to translate the complexity of your work into tangible business goals. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in open source programming languages for large scale data analysis, at least 2 years of experience with machine learning, and at least 2 years of experience with relational databases.

Compensation and Benefits
Capital One offers a comprehensive package including an estimated salary of $160,000 - $240,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
