Job Summary

This role is responsible for generating accurate and timely estimates for reconditioning services offered to internal and external customers. The successful candidate will work closely with the estimation team to develop repair or reconditioning estimations, including parts and labor, and will be responsible for monitoring work progress and verifying accuracy and completeness of work once complete.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect vehicles for body, detail, and mechanic needs
  • Develop repair or reconditioning estimations, including parts and labor
  • Assist team members with part purchase and pricing detail and communication
  • Place work orders with repair and/or reconditioning teams
  • Monitor work progress and verify accuracy and completeness of work once complete
  • Develop positive working relationships with estimation team members, allied teams, and customers
  • Wear and use appropriate safety equipment while in or around vehicles and on the shop floor
  • Follow all job-related safety and health procedures
  • Assist with special projects as assigned
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1-3 years of collision and/or mechanical estimating experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record required
  • Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Basic leadership skills preferred
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
  • Vision abilities required include close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Work Environment

Constant exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Moderate noise level.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly base pay rate is $26.06/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
