Job Summary
At Skagit Regional Health, we are seeking a skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. As a vital member of our healthcare staff, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the efforts of our medical providers.

Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to effectively utilize Microsoft Office applications to perform work duties. A high school graduate or equivalent, along with successful completion of an approved medical assisting program, is required for this position. Current Washington State Medical Assistant - Certified (MA-C) certification and American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare provider BLS certification are also mandatory. Prior related experience is preferred but not necessary.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day. The ability to frequently lift or move objects and patients weighing over 50 pounds is essential. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus. Potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens/biohazard waste may occur.
