The Resident Nurse is a vital member of our team at Skagit Regional Health, responsible for providing exceptional patient care in the Orthopedic and Surgical Care department. As a Medical Professional, you will be working closely with experienced nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver top-notch care to our patients.
**Estimated Salary:** $60,000 - $80,000 per year
About the Job:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Resident Nurse. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and knowledge while working with a talented team of healthcare professionals.
The Resident Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, including assessing patients' current health status and medical history, collecting and documenting relevant data, and implementing plans of care based on individual needs. You will also work collaboratively with other nurses and healthcare team members to ensure seamless communication and effective patient care.
In addition to providing exceptional patient care, the Resident Nurse will participate in ongoing education and training programs to enhance their skills and knowledge. This includes attending scheduled classroom sessions and monthly check-in meetings to stay up-to-date on the latest best practices and procedures.
**Requirements:**
To be successful in this role, you must be a Registered Nurse with a Washington State RN License. AHA (American Heart Association) Health Care Provider BLS certification is also required. You should possess strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
