We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist II to join our team at Carondelet St. Marys Hospital. As a CT Technologist II, you will be responsible for performing computed tomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring accurate and safe procedures.
- Select anatomic and technical parameters for CT scans, taking into account patient history and medical conditions.
- Administer contrast media and/or medications as required, adhering to established protocols and regulations.
- Monitor patients during procedures and report any abnormal activity or concerns.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient information, including medical history and imaging results.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training.
- ARRT- R&N (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist) certification.
- CT certification within 2 years of hire/transfer date.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association certification.
- Graduate of an accredited radiology program.
- Two (2) year experience in Computed Tomography (CT).
