Imaging Technologist II-CT Tech Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Imaging Technologist II-CT Tech to join our team at Tucson Medical Center. This role requires a strong background in computed tomography and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and preparation for imaging procedures.
- Maintain equipment and supplies, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
- One year of related experience in CT or mammography, preferred but not required.
- Arizona Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Knowledge of regulations regarding patient care, fire safety, infection control, and disaster plans.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, complete routine reports, and communicate effectively with patients and staff.
