Job Description

Ryder is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Senior Technician to join our team in Braintree, MA. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine and complex repairs on heavy-duty vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake and tire work
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electronic problems
  • Perform advanced skilled level repairs, including major engine repairs and diesel after treatment
  • Work on a variety of heavy-duty vehicles, including trucks and trailers
  • Collaborate with other technicians to ensure efficient and effective repairs
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and repair techniques

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Vocational or technical certification, post-secondary degree, or technical certifications preferred
  • Basic tools required
  • Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
  • Four (4) years or more relevant work experience preferred
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred
  • All other certification as required by location
