Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Echo Technologist to join our team at TriStar Summit Medical Center. As an Echo Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by physicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform imaging procedures using echocardiography equipment to diagnose and treat cardiac conditions.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and answer questions.
  • Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment, ensuring proper function and safety.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Document patient information, test results, and other relevant data in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Diagnostic Echo Medical Sonography Program.
  • American Heart BLS certification obtained and maintained according to hospital policy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
