Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health

Central Desert Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking an exceptional Registered Nurse to join our Behavioral Health team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide comprehensive, compassionate, and holistic care to patients in our Behavioral Health program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver nursing care to patients requiring care, collecting patient data, making observations, and reporting pertinent information to the care of patients.
  • Direct and supervise care given by other nursing staff members as needed.
  • Provide support and resources to patients and families to facilitate recovery.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities.
Requirements:
  • Must be a licensed RN in good standing with the state.
  • 1+ years of nursing experience in a behavioral health facility strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills (critical thinking) coupled with the ability to work independently.
