The Lead Direct Support Professional will play a vital role in helping individuals live independently in their own homes, identifying and achieving personal goals, and enhancing the overall quality of their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care and Support: Assist individuals with daily living tasks, such as grocery shopping, meal planning, and medication administration.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Serve as a backup to the supervisor, communicate effectively with individuals, families, and team members, and maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Transportation and Activities: Provide transportation to appointments and community activities, and support individuals in developing and maintaining independent living skills.
  • Health and Safety: Monitor health conditions, administer medication, and maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Training and Development: Complete mandatory online training modules and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Driving Requirements: Must have a valid driver's license, if driving is required for the position.
  • Criminal Background: Ability to pass a background check.
  • Communication Skills: Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, staff, and other customers.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for individuals' privacy.

Compensation: $17 per hour.
