Job Summary:

The Direct Support Professional plays a vital role in helping individuals live independently and achieve their goals. As a member of the Doma team, you will provide personal care and support to individuals in their own homes, helping them to develop and maintain independent living skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support assistance to individuals, including personal care and daily living activities.
  • Assist individuals with daily tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Help individuals develop and maintain independent living skills, such as cooking and cleaning.
  • Provide transportation to appointments and community activities.
  • Administer medication and monitor health conditions.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and other team members.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license, if driving is required for the position.
  • No more than two minor moving violations in the past 3 years.
  • No major violations in the past 5 years.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for individuals' privacy.
