Job Title: Fabricator I (Cast Polymers)

Tower Industries is seeking a skilled Fabricator I (Cast Polymers) to join our Solid Surface Fabrication team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating cast polymer saws and routers to perform standard cast polymer fabrication work, producing high-quality cast polymer trim parts, and ensuring that all fabricated pieces meet our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate cast polymer saws and routers to perform standard fabrication work
  • Measure and inspect parts during processing and finishing to ensure they meet order specifications within accepted tolerances
  • Perform daily operator maintenance on assigned equipment and maintain records of that maintenance
  • Prepare fabricated parts for shipment and/or installation, including final inspection and proper labeling
  • Train, certify, and operate forklift/tow motor with onsite trainer
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret manufacturing instructions and customer order sheets
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 150 pounds with assistance.
