Supply Chain Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Associate to join our team at Fastenal. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for managing inventory, placing and fulfilling orders, receiving and shipping inventory, and administering procurement functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support business-to-business sales and customer service activities
- Manage inventory, place and fulfill orders, receive and ship inventory
- Administer procurement functions, including estimating and quoting prices and sourcing products
- Make deliveries with a company vehicle to fulfill inventory at customer sites
- Coordinate resources to respond to customer supply chain needs
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and Lean optimizations
Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older
- Possess a current full valid driver's license
- Possess or be working towards a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing, Sales, or related field of study
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service-oriented
- Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and sense of urgency
- Demonstrate strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities
- Exhibit strong problem-solving, deductive reasoning, and decision-making skills
