Phlebotomy Instructor

Central Oregon Community College (COCC) is seeking a qualified Phlebotomy Instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will provide instruction to students in the Allied Health program, directing student discussion and evaluating student performance in the classroom.

• Provide instruction in Phlebotomy, including lecturing and guiding in classroom activities, providing individual conference time to guide and evaluate student progress.
• Teaching assignments may include courses taught during the day and/or evening, delivered in-person (as conditions allow) or online, synchronously, or asynchronously.
• Utilize resources, including technological resources such as a Learning Management System, to support teaching activities as appropriate.
• Participate in collaborative efforts related to curriculum development and the evaluation of courses and academic programs.

• Phlebotomy certification/license or other training such as (MD, DO, RN, BSN, CMA)
• One year of relevant experience working in the field. Demonstrated successful teaching, or evidence for the potential for excellence in teaching.
• National Phlebotomy Certificate/License

• Teaching experience
