Phlebotomy Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified Phlebotomy Instructor to join our team at COCC. The successful candidate will provide instruction to students in the Allied Health program, directing student discussion and evaluating student performance in the classroom.

• Provide instruction in Phlebotomy, including lecturing and guiding in classroom activities, providing individual conference time to guide and evaluate student progress.
• Utilize resources, including technological resources such as a Learning Management System, to support teaching activities as appropriate.
• Participate in collaborative efforts related to curriculum development and the evaluation of courses and academic programs.
• Perform other essential duties and tasks relevant to part-time instructor teaching assignments, as assigned.

• Phlebotomy certification/license or other training such as MD, DO, RN, BSN, CMA.
• One year of relevant experience working in the field.
• Demonstrated successful teaching, or evidence for the potential for excellence in teaching.
• National Phlebotomy Certificate/License.

• Teaching experience.
