Penske is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy trucks in Agawam, MA.

Key Tasks">

  • Maintain and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.">
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations.">
  • Diagnose and repair complex problems with heavy trucks.">
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.">
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in diesel engine repair.">

Requirements">

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.">
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).">
  • A valid driver's license.">
  • The ability to solve problems and work comfortably using tools.">
  • Excellent customer service skills and communication skills.">
  • The ability to work well as part of a team and outside.">
