Job Summary

The Quality Compliance Specialist will be a key member of the General Manufacturing department at Bartell Machinery. This role will report directly to the EHS Compliance Manager and will be responsible for ensuring the company's quality management system is compliant with ISO standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and track company quality documents and records, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement quality procedures to support ISO:9001:2015, 45001:2018, and 14001:2015 standards.
  • Organize and retain policies and documents to lifecycle retention, and archive inactive electronic and hardcopy records in accordance with the record retention schedule.
  • Lead and monitor the Control of Monitoring and Measuring Equipment, and the Corrective Action Program.
  • Ensure quality department reports are accurate and posted timely, and conduct internal auditing to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Lead the Auditing Team, recruiting, training, and scheduling ISO internal audits, as well as supporting 3rd party audits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Background in ISO writing and EH&S policies a plus.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a cross-functional team atmosphere.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, OneDrive, Publisher, Skitch, and Adobe.
  • Continuous Improvement, Lean/Six Sigma experience a plus.

Travel Requirements

10% travel required for this role.
