Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on vehicles and equipment, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of parts.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify potential issues and recommend preventive maintenance.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices for maintenance and repair.
Requirements
  • Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2-year school and 1 year of experience or 3 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair
  • Current and valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
  • ASE certifications; Automotive or Medium/Heavy Duty Trucks
  • 609 HVAC Certification
Work Environment

This role requires working in a fast-paced maintenance environment with frequent exposure to mechanical equipment, tools, and chemicals. The associate may be required to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and lift heavy objects.
