About the Position:
We are seeking an internationally recognized scholar and proven educator to join our faculty as the Coleman Endowed Chair in Entrepreneurship at the rank of Associate or Full Professor. The successful candidate will have a strong and active research record, as well as expertise and perspectives gained from a notable academic career.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strong research and curricular leadership for our entrepreneurship programs, including graduate degree programs (MBA, MS, and Doctorate in Business Administration) and undergraduate major and minor degree offerings.
- Interface with the Coleman Center and its stakeholders, and cultivate and maintain effective relationships with internal advisory boards and Chicago's thriving entrepreneurship ecosystem.
- Provide guidance to doctoral students pursuing research in the field of entrepreneurship.
About the Department:
The Department of Management and Entrepreneurship at DePaul University's Driehaus College of Business is a diverse, multi-disciplinary, and research-active faculty who support undergraduate and graduate programs in entrepreneurship, business analytics, human resource management, general management, supply chain management, and sustainability management.
Requirements:
- A doctorate in entrepreneurship or a related field.
- An outstanding record of publications in top entrepreneurship and management academic journals.
- Evidence of teaching excellence.
- Notable service contributions.
- The ability to work collegially and collaboratively within the academic and business communities.
