Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Reser's, a leading provider of fresh refrigerated deli salads, side dishes, and prepared foods. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Equipment Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, and complete corrective work orders to minimize downtime.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to SWI's and GMP's, and perform basic electrical duties as needed.
  • Training and Development: Train production team members on mechanical processes and procedures, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain control of MRO inventory and operate within a CMMS system to record work performed and work needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience working as a multi-craft industrial technician, with a basic understanding of steam generation and supply systems, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems maintenance, and basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Skills: Good communication skills, basic computer and report writing skills, ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment, and good time-management skills.
Working Conditions
  • Environment: Processed and refrigerated foods manufacturing plant, with temperatures ranging from 25°F to 115°F.
  • Physical Demands: Lifting up to 50lbs repeatably, and working in a wet or dry environment.
