Instrument Repair Technician

We are seeking an experienced Instrument Repair Technician to join our team at Guitar Center. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining customer-owned instruments, as well as store-owned equipment.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to combine your technical skills with your passion for music. You will work closely with our sales team to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that every customer leaves our store satisfied with their experience.

Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain customer-owned instruments to a high standard
  • Maintain store-owned equipment, including guitars, amplifiers, and effects pedals
  • Complete warranty repair work in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to drive sales growth and achieve business objectives
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of guitar repair techniques and methods
  • The ability to work accurately and efficiently, meeting deadlines and quality standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
