Job Overview

KARM Stores is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our retail management team, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of our stores, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for each customer.
  2. Assist Retail Management: Assist the Retail Management team in register transactions, handling cash and credit card payments, and maintaining customer service standards.
  3. Store Operations: Assist in stocking store shelves and clothing racks, identifying areas for improvement, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  4. Training and Development: Work with the Retail Manager to train new employees, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles.
  5. Reporting and Administration: Complete Daily Reconciliation Sales Reports, bank deposits, and other administrative tasks accurately and efficiently.
  6. Leadership and Teamwork: Lead and equip the team by living out KARM Stores' mission and core values, including being Trustworthy, Team-Minded, and Teachable.
Requirements
  1. Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with a strong command of the English language.
  2. Commitment to KARM Stores' Mission: Demonstrate a commitment to KARM Stores' mission and mission statement.
  3. Computer Skills: Possess basic computer skills, including typing and web browsing capabilities.
  4. Interpretation and Follow-up: Ability to interpret and follow a variety of instructions and goals provided in written or oral form.
  5. Physical Demands: Stand for up to 100% of a standard work day, lift up to 75% of a standard work day, and perform moderate to heavy physical activity.
