About the Role:

UPS is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a diverse range of equipment, including delivery vehicles, heavy-duty on-road tractors, and trailers from various manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with complex systems, including hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electrical, and engine control.
  • Operate power and pneumatic tools, and meet all requirements to be Power Industrial Truck Operations (PITO) certified.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.

Requirements:

  • Current documented automotive mechanical experience.
  • Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and personal computers.
  • Class A/B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) - REQUIRED.
  • Ability to work a 2nd shift schedule, Monday through Friday, and some weekends, depending on the location's need.
