Position Overview:
The Clinical Pharmacist plays a crucial role in the healthcare team, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. This position involves collaboration with various healthcare professionals to enhance patient wellness and manage both acute and chronic health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote patient health.
- Provide expert consultation on medication-related issues to healthcare staff.
- Educate patients and their families regarding medication management.
- Deliver clinical pharmacy services within the Emergency Department, including medication recommendations and order verification.
- Participate in code and trauma response as necessary.
- Support pharmacy operations and assist with medication distribution when required.

Work Schedule:
- Night Shift: 7 days on, 7 days off, including 12-hour shifts and one 8-hour shift weekly.

Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an ASHP accredited residency program or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of three years of clinical experience in a health-system setting.
- Current pharmacist licensure in the state of practice.
- Board Certification through the Board of Pharmacy Specialties or equivalent certification within two years of employment.
