Role OverviewWe are in search of a Staff Software Engineer with over 8 years of experience to lead backend development projects, enhance system performance, and scale our solutions effectively. In this position, you will work closely with our founders and a distinguished team that includes Forbes 30 under 30 entrepreneurs, Stanford engineers, and Berkeley MBA graduates, each with more than a decade of experience in both leading tech giants and innovative startups.
As a Staff Software Engineer at Truva, you will take on a role that extends beyond mere contribution; you will serve as a mentor and advocate for your team. Your daily tasks will involve tackling intricate backend challenges, engaging in hands-on coding, and utilizing your leadership abilities to drive product success in our dynamic startup environment. You will play a pivotal role in building and mentoring the engineering team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions that align with our ambitious objectives.
Key Responsibilities- System Architecture and Design: You will be tasked with architecting and designing sophisticated systems, effectively scaling them, and experimenting with various technologies to determine optimal solutions while maintaining development speed.
- Product Feature Engagement: Actively contribute to product feature discussions, determining the most suitable architecture in line with business priorities, managing immediate deadlines, and planning for long-term development and scalability.
- Collaborative Technical Vision: Participate actively in shaping and refining our technical vision, ensuring it aligns with the overall goals and strategies of the company.
