This position is for an Electrical Aircraft Technician within the Electrical Backshop at Airbus Helicopters, Inc.


Position Overview:

As a vital member of our team, you will engage in both manual and automated tasks throughout the manufacturing process of electronic circuit boards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement fundamental techniques and procedures for electrical installations.
- Interpret and adhere to detailed schematics, diagrams, and industry standards for the assembly of wire harnesses and electrical components.
- Execute wire routing on form boards, ensuring proper tying, lacing, and application of anti-chafing protections.
- Install solder shields, splices, daisy chains, and various electronic components including resistors, capacitors, and diodes.
- Perform soldering tasks for connectors, contacts, and components while maintaining accurate records of completed work.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience in aircraft electrical systems or a related field.
- Completion of an Avionics and Cabling Class (such as those offered by East Mississippi Community College) is preferred.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is essential.
- Familiarity with standard aviation tools is required.

Citizenship Requirements:
- Candidates must qualify as a US Person under ITAR regulations.
