Job Title: Aircraft FuelerJob Summary:

The Aircraft Fueler position at Avflight is responsible for providing fueling and maintenance services to aircraft and ground support equipment. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work efficiently under time constraints.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fuel and de-ice aircraft in accordance with specific standards
  • Direct the movement of aircraft and vehicular traffic on the ramp and in and about the shops and hangars of Avflight's facilities
  • Operate and maintain fuel trucks and ground support vehicles, and service aircraft and ground support vehicles with fuel, oil, and other supplies
  • Perform grounds keeping and janitorial maintenance duties, and assist with snow removal as required
  • Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the areas in and about Avflight's vicinity
  • Assist aircraft crews and passengers by providing courteous services
  • Perform daily and monthly fuel truck safety inspections, and ensure vehicles are in safe operating order
  • Maintain compliance with all FAA, Federal, State, Local, and Avflight safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2 years related experience, Aviation experience a plus
  • Ability to push/pull/lift 70 lbs. for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work efficiently under time constraints
  • Must be available and willing to work varied hours, including swing and graveyard shifts, plus weekends and holidays
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have authorization to work in the U.S.

Work Environment:

Airport environment: Indoors and Outdoors. Extreme outdoor conditions where extreme temperature ranges may be encountered.
