Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests with a friendly smile and engage in conversation to build rapport
  • Use a seating chart to efficiently seat guests, ensuring a smooth dining experience
  • Monitor the waiting list and manage the floor chart to optimize table availability
  • Communicate effectively with guests who are waiting, keeping them informed of wait times and estimated wait periods
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the menus, waiting area, and restrooms
  • Answer phones and take to-go orders as needed

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Ability to organize, plan ahead, and engage in conversation with guests
  • Physical stamina to remain on feet for several hours, lift up to 20 pounds, and perform frequent bending, kneeling, and sweeping
