Job Summary

Ent Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled Consumer Loan Officer to join our team. As a Consumer Loan Officer, you will be responsible for originating and closing consumer loans, providing exceptional customer service, and working closely with our lending sales team to achieve sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Originate and close consumer loans, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to member inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work closely with the lending sales team to achieve sales goals, identifying opportunities to increase loan production and improve member satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve loan origination and customer service processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as education and service teams, to ensure seamless member experience.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years of experience in a financial services institution, including 1+ year of consumer or mortgage loan origination.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with ability to learn and execute new sales skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and lending software.
